Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Material Handler in Hagerstown, MD. The role involves warehouse duties including forklift operation, loading, picking and packing, with a third shift schedule (Sun–Tue 7:00 pm–7:00 am, every other Wed 7:00 pm–7:00 am).

Weekly pay and benefits are offered. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year warehousing/power truck experience, and a valid forklift license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping and receiving.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during production shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
