Ryder in Hagerstown, MD is hiring a Material Handler and Forklift Operator for the third shift. You will work in a clean, safety‑driven warehouse handling computers and operating reach trucks and order pickers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to work within a diverse environment.
• Must be punctual with a good attendance record.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Operate within contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Manage day-to-day warehouse paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
