Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Material Handler in Hagerstown, MD to join a safe, fast-paced warehouse environment. You will operate forklifts, assist with loading, picking, packing and shipping, and maintain accurate cycle counts across a growing distribution network in the US.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift and push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Must be punctual and have good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and perform loading, picking, packing, shipping and receiving.
• Conduct cycle counting and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Prepare and handle paperwork related to warehouse operations (bills of lading, packing lists, etc.).
• Support maintenance and operation of automated packing systems during shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
