Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Frankfort, IN is hiring a Forklift Operator Associate. You will operate forklifts in a clean, safety-focused warehouse environment with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 35 lbs, and working a C Shift schedule Wednesday through Saturday from 4:30pm to 3:00am. Prior warehouse and forklift experience is preferred, with a valid license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator's license certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods and work flexible shifts.
• Must be punctual with good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation.
• Auditing and cycle counting; tote induction and staging of products.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hour.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
