Job summary

Ryder System is hiring a Permanent Full Time Material Handler in Frankfort, IN. The role involves forklift operation, picking, packing, and shipping with scheduled C Shift hours and weekly pay. Compensation starts at $19.00 per hour plus a $2.50 per hour shift premium.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Able to work in a diverse environment and be punctual with good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
