Job summary

Smart Foodservice Stores in Cookeville, TN seeks a Night Forklift Operator to handle material movement and storage tasks. You will operate a forklift/high-lift to move stock between dock, storage areas and pick levels, following safe practices during night and day shifts.

Base pay ranges from $18.50 to $27.00 per hour, with overtime opportunities noted. Benefits start day one, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), ESPP, life insurance and paid parental leave.

Qualifications

• Able to read and write legibly; basic math skills.
• Must understand Voxware commands.
• OSHA forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Transports pallet loads from dock to warehouse slot using powered equipment.
• Replenishes pick slots from reserve slots to maintain inventory for night shift.
• Performs safety checks on battery, brakes, lift controls, and fire extinguisher.
• Records product, equipment and warehouse damage.
• Keeps aisles clean by removing debris from floors and racks.
• Follows all safety policies at all times.
