Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator for the 3rd shift to support our manufacturing and packaging lines. You will operate forklifts and other material-handling devices, supply machinery with components, and assist with shipping and receiving to maintain production flow.

The ideal candidate will have forklift experience in a fast-paced environment, be safety-focused, and able to complete required training (29 CFR 1910.178).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience safely operating forklifts in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.
• Experience working with high-speed, automated production machinery preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift and successfully complete 29 CFR 1910.178 Powered Industrial Truck Training, as required by company policy.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and MRP systems.
• Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment and meet operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate automated production machines and equipment in accordance with SOPs and required training.
• Operate forklifts, walk-behind equipment, and other powered industrial trucks and material-handling devices.
• Supply production machines with individual components and materials to maintain efficient operations.
• Deliver palletized packaging materials and bulk lighters to production areas in a timely manner.
• Perform required quality checks according to established standards.
• Complete and maintain required quality documentation, production records, and shift reports.
• Support shipping and receiving activities as needed to meet production requirements and operational goals.
• Perform general housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and operational guidelines.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
