Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Lift Truck Operator 1 (LTO1) to support our warehouse and production teams in Canandaigua, NY. You will operate forklifts and clamp trucks, load/unload trucks, and use WMS for inventory and shipments, while maintaining accuracy and safety.

We offer a 40-hour work week on A or C shifts with $18.85/hour base pay plus shift differential. Candidates with 1–2 years’ warehouse experience and forklift training are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehouse experience operating lift trucks.
• Ability to complete forklift training or pass on-site skills test.
• Previous forklift training or current certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and other warehouse equipment to move finished goods and materials.
• Safely load and unload inbound and outbound trucks.
• Stage and store materials in a high-volume production environment.
• Use WMS tools for inventory and load management, including pick lists and PGI.
• Verify product counts, IDs, destinations, and carrier information before loading.
• Complete required shipping and inventory documentation accurately.
• Load inbound and outbound finished goods using PIC sheets or direct-load forklift functions.
• Perform material transfers according to established procedures.
• Follow safety standards, Leader Standard Work, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.
• Complete daily forklift inspection checklists and change propane tanks as needed.
