Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Auburn, ME is seeking a forklift operator to support receiving and stock. You will load and unload merchandise, inspect deliveries, and move pallets to the sales floor while maintaining safety and accuracy.

You'll greet Members, help locate items, and assist with general club operations. This role requires ≥18 years old and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds, with on-site work and a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior forklift operating experience preferred, but not required.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and more with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Operates a forklift in a safe and efficient manner and inspects before use.
• Loads and unloads merchandise and materials from delivery trucks.
• Receives and inspects delivered goods and prepares pallets for storage or shipment.
• Uses a pallet jack and transports merchandise throughout the club.
• Stocks and rotates merchandise on shelves and in storage areas.
• Maintains club cleanliness and organization and supports daily openings/closings.
• Greets Members and assists with locating merchandise and provides courteous service.
• Follows company policies and procedures and performs other duties as needed.
