Job summary

BJs Wholesale Club is seeking a forklift operator to support receiving, stocking and palletizing in our Eliot, ME club. You will load and unload trucks, inspect merchandise and prepare pallets while upholding safety and club policies.

Prior forklift experience is preferred but not required; completion of required training and certification is necessary. The role offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits to eligible team members.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Forklift operating experience preferred, but not required.
• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Operates a forklift safely and efficiently; inspects forklifts before use.
• Loads and unloads merchandise and materials from delivery trucks; receives merchandise.
• Transports merchandise and pallets around the club, using a pallet jack as needed.
• Stock, rotate, and store general and food merchandise; handle damaged items per policy.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized club environment; assist Members as needed.
