Job summary

Mars is seeking a Forklift Operator/ Production Utility to support Royal Canin's Fremont, NE facility. This role runs a 12-hour shift cycle (6:00 PM–6:30 AM; 223 rotating shift) and requires operating and changing over machinery in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities include safe equipment operation, material inventories, routine maintenance checks, and collaboration with the area team to ensure product quality and on-time output.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Have a High school diploma, GED or equivalent education.
• Must be willing and able to work varying shifts.
• Ability to understand and effectively communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform periodic and routine inventories of raw materials in storage.
• Provide and perform routine maintenance checks on equipment.
• Assist in other production, sanitation, maintenance, and quality activity as directed.
• Perform housekeeping and sanitation procedures.
• Loading trucks, live loads and staged loads.
• Direct ship responsibility including proper disposition of hold product, food safety hold product and released product.
