Job summary

Maersk is hiring a Forklift Operator for the 3rd shift in Elizabeth, NJ. The role focuses on loading and unloading cargo, using forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and adhering to TSA/OSHA guidelines.

The position requires ability to lift 50+ lbs, work overtime and weekends as needed, and collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily targets. Compensation starts at $21.50 per hour, with eligibility for bonuses where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be able to use forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding/shrink-wrap material.
• RF scan gun is required.
• forklift certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist Drivers in loading and unloading trucks.
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials and load shipments.
• Identify overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D) and report discrepancies.
• Perform other duties as assigned in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
