Job summary

CHEP is hiring a Forklift Operator to support our production and material handling teams on the 3rd shift. You will operate electric and propane forklifts, move pallets and containers, and ensure safe, efficient flow of materials through the facility.

Responsibilities include pre-shift inspections, loading/unloading activities, and strict adherence to safety protocols. The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environment preferred.
• Ability to operate both electric and propane-powered forklifts.
• Strong awareness of workplace safety practices and material handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely loading automated roller systems with broken pallet stock for repair.
• Removing finished product from automated production rollers and transporting it to storage or staging locations.
• Maintaining consistent material flow to minimize production downtime.
• Conducting pre-shift equipment inspections and reporting maintenance concerns.
• Following all facility safety procedures and forklift operating standards.
