Job summary

Winland Foods is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to move materials across production and packaging operations. You will operate forklifts, stage materials, and manage inventory while following strict food safety standards.

Opportunities exist to train teammates and participate in process improvements within a safety-focused culture. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift experience, and willingness to obtain additional certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; forklift certification a plus.
• Experience operating forklifts, box trucks, and SAP inventory systems.
• Willingness to obtain required certifications (forklift, SAP, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, wrapping machines and related equipment safely and document inspections.
• Move materials, ensure FIFO rotation, stage materials to prevent downtime and manage inventories.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA, and food safety policies; maintain clean, audit-ready areas.
• Assist team members, participate in training, contribute to productivity, safety, and quality goals.
