Job summary

Bocar US in Tanner, Alabama is seeking a Forklift Operator for the 10:30PM - 6:30AM shift to support loading, unloading and movement of materials through the plant. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of forklift/tugger experience, 3 years in industrial environments, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team while maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years of forklift/tugger operation experience.
• Must have 3 years in industrial/manufacturing or distribution environments; or equivalent military experience.
• Quality conscious with a high degree of attention to detail.
• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load material.
• Identify damages.
• Report shortages.
• Report quality deficiencies.
• Transport raw materials to product workstations.
• Inspect machinery.
• Determine the need for repairs.
• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs.
• Comply with company policies and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Perform any other responsibilities as assigned.
• Available to work overtime as needed.
