Job summary

Bocar US is seeking a Forklift Operator for the Tanner, Alabama facility on the 10:30PM - 6:30AM shift. Reports to Logistics Supervisor and works in a fast-paced industrial setting focused on safe material handling and inventory accuracy.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 2 years of forklift/tugger experience, and 3+ years in an industrial environment. Teamwork and attention to detail are essential; overtime is available.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of forklift/tugger operator experience.
• Minimum 3 years of continuous work in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environments (or equivalent military).
• Quality conscious with high attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and ability to work well with others.
• Excellent hand–eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load material.
• Identify damages and report issues.
• Report shortages and quality deficiencies.
• Transport raw materials to product workstations.
• Inspect machinery and determine repair needs.
• Keep updated inventory and activity logs.
• Comply with company policies and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Overtime may be required and scheduled as needed.

• Report shortages
• Report quality deficiencies
• Transport raw materials to product workstations
• Inspect machinery
• Determine the need for repairs
• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
• Comply with company policies and guidelines
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
• Perform any other responsibilities as assigned
• Available to work overtime as needed

REQUIREMENTS (including educational requirements)

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have 2 years of experience as a Forklift/tugger Operator
• Must have 3 years of continuous work experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environment; and/or equivalent military experience.
• Must be quality conscious, paying a high degree of attention to detail.
• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment.
• Must have excellent hand and eye coordination.
