Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. You will move stock, load and unload shipments, and operate various forklifts and electric pallet jacks in a climate-controlled facility.

The role is 3rd shift from Sunday to Thursday, 11p-7a, with a pay rate of $18.45 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential. Prior warehouse and forklift experience are preferred, and training is provided to obtain forklift certification within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred
• Six months forklift operation experience

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other power equipment.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring correct quantity and type.
• Keep records and reports for inventory accuracy.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy; check count, stability and damage; report variances.
• Change equipment battery or LP tank as needed; monitor power source.
• Maintain clean, neat, and orderly facilities and equipment.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Complete daily equipment inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
