Job summary

Forward Air Corp. in Folcroft, PA seeks an experienced Forklift Operator to safely load/unload, stage, and move freight in a multimodal terminal environment.

You will operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts and other MHE, scan cargo, ensure accurate documentation, and support dock productivity while working Monday–Friday 5pm–1am onsite. Candidates should have a valid forklift certification, 3+ years dock/warehouse experience, and ability to lift up to 75 lbs with or without assistance; English

Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification/licensure required.
• 3+ years of dock or warehouse experience required.
• Ability to read labels, barcodes, and freight markings; perform basic arithmetic.
• Proficient English communication, both written and verbal.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other MHE with company training

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using forklifts and MHE.
• Move, stage, sort, and position freight between doors and warehouse areas.
• Pick, pack, and prepare items for shipping and delivery.
• Assist drivers with loading/unloading following safety procedures.
• Scan and track freight to ensure documentation integrity.
• Report damaged freight and unsafe conditions to supervision.
• Maintain a clean, safe dock environment.
• Train and mentor other Material Handlers.
