Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator for its dock operations in Whites Creek, TN. The role involves efficiently loading and unloading freight, using a forklift and pallet jack, and ensuring freight is secured inside trailers for safe transport.

The position requires lifting up to 50 lb frequently and occasionally more, with extended time on non-climate-controlled docks. Night shifts are included, and benefits are offered for those averaging 30+ hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform basic math, with or without a calculator.
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use forklift, pallet jack and other equipment as required.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work safely and in compliance with company safety policies.
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock that may be not climate-controlled for extended periods.
