Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our dock team. You will efficiently sort, handle, load and unload freight using forklift and pallet jack, ensuring safe and accurate movement on a busy dock.

You’ll work a night shift with the potential for varied hours, contributing to a high-performance logistics operation at XPO. Ideal candidates have forklift/pallet jack experience and a strong attention to detail, with flexibility to adapt to changing freight volumes and schedules.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Able to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Available to work a variety of shifts due to varying freight volumes, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use forklift and pallet jack to move items safely.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Operate on a dock with attention to safety policies and procedures.
• Use handheld scanners to track shipments.
