Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in Tolleson, AZ is hiring a Forklift Operator for night shift (6:30pm–6:30am) on a 3/2/3 schedule. Starting pay ranges from $22.35 to $24.00 per hour, with responsibilities including material handling, loading, and production support.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a dynamic manufacturing setting. The successful candidate will operate forklifts, assist in line with schedules, complete paperwork, and participate in inventory and quality assurance

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
• Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
• Communicates effectively: conveys facts and information clearly both verbally and orally.
• Collaborates well with others: proactively contributes to group objectives; volunteers to help others.

Responsibilities

• Follow all established safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies, procedures and recognized practices.
• Perform a safety lift truck inspection and battery check and report any equipment malfunctioning or damage.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities as assigned.
• Review daily production schedule with Shift Supervisor and move materials to the lines as needed.
• Provide accurate information of unloaded materials to warehouse personnel.
• Maintain records of materials used and produced and report them appropriately.
• Assist in relieving downstream teammates for breaks and lunches.
• Move pallets to staging area and ensure correct product codes and tagging.
