Job summary

Quad is seeking dependable Forklift Operators to join our Hartford manufacturing team. You will operate forklifts and supply presses with paper and materials, transporting raw materials and finished products throughout the plant to keep production on schedule.

This is a night shift role on a 12-hour compressed schedule with 182 days per year, offering full-time pay and benefits. Prior forklift experience and safe operation are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Forklift operating experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, shipping, logistics, distribution, or material handling environments.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers safely and efficiently.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment.
• Supply presses and finishing equipment with paper and materials.
• Transport raw materials and finished products throughout the plant.
• Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory using RF scanners and computerized systems.
• Support production by delivering materials where needed.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Follow safety policies and keep work area clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
