Job summary

Sonoco is seeking a Material Handler in DeForest, Wisconsin for a 10pm–6am shift. You will operate a forklift, unload and inspect raw materials and finished goods, and ensure proper labeling and documentation for shipments.

This role requires attention to safety, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work overtime as needed. You will report to the Shipping Supervisor and participate in maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment while complying with food safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Requires forklift experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Safety oriented with awareness of LP gas handling rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move raw materials and finished goods.
• Unload, inspect, and stage materials and supplies.
• Identify, label, and document finished goods for shipment.
• Keep work area clean, safe, and organized.
• Assist with replenishing supplies and loading as needed.
