Job summary

Amcor Fremont is seeking a Material Handler to keep materials moving safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse. You will operate a stand-up forklift, move raw materials and finished goods, and support production with accurate inventory control.

Qualifications include safe forklift operation, basic math, strong organizational and teamwork skills, and the ability to work a 12-hour night shift. Training and certification will be provided; expect a physically active role in a hot environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to complete Amcor Fremont forklift certification and Material Handling training.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Move, stage, and store raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products.
• Supply production areas with the materials needed to keep operations running.
• Use RF scanning equipment to complete inventory and product movements.
• Organize warehouse racks and maintain accurate product labeling.
• Perform cycle counts and support inventory accuracy.
• Complete routine forklift inspections and battery changes.
• Follow all safety, quality, GMP, and food-safety procedures.
