You will work in an active manufacturing setting, handling dusts and using computerized systems while meeting production targets.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 90+ days in a computer-automated environment, and the ability to lift heavy loads.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 90 days of demonstrated proficiency in a computer-automated environment.
• Proficiency in blend and material handling operations; ability to perform Material Handling 1 and 2 functions preferred.
• Valid driver's license or medical clearance to operate a powered industrial vehicle.
• Ability to read weights, inventory, receiving information, and production data.
• Ability to walk, stand, pull, and lift; lift up to 86 pounds, 87–100 with assistance; climb a silo up to 90 feet.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent raw-material weights and balances when producing extrusion compounds.
• Operate and monitor the blending network, analyze output, correct inconsistencies, and maximize production utilization.
• Verify gates, scales, motors, and temperature/AMP gauges are properly sequenced and working.
• Move and unload railcars; adjust outflow valves; complete receiving, releasing, and paperwork.
• Stage micro-ingredients and restock blend levels and hoppers; change totes.
• Record shift totals and production data in BPCS and spreadsheets.
• Perform preventive-maintenance checks and assist maintenance as needed.
• Operate forklifts and conduct safety inspections.
• Maintain clean, orderly work areas and participate in safety programs.
• Perform Extrusion Associate 1 functions and related duties.
