Job summary

Gourmet Dining & Chartwells Higher Education at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ is hiring for FOOD SERVICE UTILITY roles, both full-time and part-time. The work mainly covers night schedules Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday, with opportunities for growth and on-the-job training. Prior related experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior dishwasher, housekeeping, or environmental services experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment clean and orderly.
• Sweeps and mops floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators and other prep surfaces.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Loads/unloads and delivers supplies and products as needed.
• Distributes supplies and equipment as required.
• Complies with safety and sanitation requirements and performs other duties.
