Job summary

Fortrex is seeking a meticulous Food Safety Sanitor for on-site, part-time work. You will perform sanitation tasks following the eight steps of sanitation and adhere to all safety policies. The role involves lifting, working in varied temperatures, and using PPE to maintain a safe production environment.

Qualifications

• Must have safety awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to take direction from managers and be accountable for actions.
• Capable of working in extreme temperature fluctuations.
• Willingness to work in a wet, hot, or cold environment while using PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform sanitation using the eight steps of sanitation.
• Coordinate with leads and management to ensure procedures are followed.
• Frequently lift hoses, equipment, and chemical containers.
• Wear PPE such as gloves, face shield, goggles, apron, boots, and safety glasses.
• Work in night shifts and be prepared for long standing tasks.
