Job description

We have an opening for full-time FLOOR TECHNICIAN positions at ESFM. Location: JNJ - 3348 Pulliam Street, San Angelo, TX 76905. Schedule: Full-time Monday-Friday; may vary. Must work every other weekend. Requirement: prior experience preferred but not required; willing to train. Pay: $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions

• Maintain knowledge of principles of hard‑surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large areas of floor surface.
• Use proper procedures for carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications

• Preferred: previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs.
