Job summary

Carlson in Grafton, WI is seeking a Floor Care Technician to maintain floors and carpets using waxing, buffing, shampooing and extraction with safe, efficient cleaning.

This direct-hire, night-shift role runs 11:00 PM to 4:30 AM for 35 hours per week, offers weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA, 401(k) with up to 4% match, PTO and holidays) and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• Some cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to engage in respectful communications with coworkers, customers and store personnel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Handles hard floor care, including mopping, scrubbing, and buffing.
• Provides carpet maintenance including vacuuming, shampooing, bonneting and extracting carpets.
• Provides other cleaning services, such as dusting and restroom cleaning.
• Operates floor care machines safely and follows manufacturer instructions.
• Follows safety requirements and reports on time and time worked.
• Keeps equipment in working order and requests materials from supervisor.
• Assists with floor stripping and other duties as needed.
