Job summary

Harvard Maintenance, Inc. is seeking a Janitorial Floor Tech to clean, maintain, and restore various floor types across facilities in the United States. This role involves using specialized floor care equipment, following industry best practices, and ensuring a clean, safe environment.

You will work with the Environmental Services team to deliver exceptional service, observe safety protocols, handle cleaning chemicals properly, and operate floor care gear efficiently to meet daily schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in floor care, janitorial, or commercial cleaning is a plus.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques for various surfaces and familiarity with equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality service upholding Environmental Services standards.
• Clean and care for tile, carpet, brick floors.
• Complete tasks efficiently and on schedule.
• Follow procedures for safe chemical use and supplies handling.
• Operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment safely.
• Observe safety protocols, including wet floor signs.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Report safety hazards promptly.
