Job summary

Harvard Maintenance in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a Janitorial Floor Tech to clean, maintain, and restore carpeted and hard surface floors across facilities. You’ll use specialized equipment, follow best practices, and help ensure a clean, safe environment.

M-F evenings with some weekends, competitive benefits, and a supportive team culture. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent preferred and prior floor care or janitorial experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in floor care or janitorial is a plus.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques for various surfaces.
• Familiarity with operating floor cleaning equipment and safe usage.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality service in the Environmental Services Department.
• Clean and maintain floor types including tile, carpet and brick.
• Follow procedures for cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Operate floor cleaning equipment safely and properly.
• Observe safety protocols and report hazards.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
