Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking an Overnight Floor Technician in Missouri to support our casino environment. The role involves operating carpet shampooers, buffers, and other floor care equipment, while applying chemicals safely and maintaining cleanliness across assigned areas.

The position requires basic high school education, prior janitorial experience preferred, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights up to 40 feet. Competitive benefits are included as part of Total Rewards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Previous janitorial experience preferred.
• Has held a position as cleaner, or equivalent.
• Excellent oral communication skills.
• General knowledge of chemicals, shampoos, strippers, and wax preferred.
• Working knowledge of Heavy Duty equipment.
• Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operates carpet shampooer and buffer.
• Ensures appropriate chemicals are used when cleaning and mixes appropriate chemicals.
• Responsible for moving furniture and cleaning of assigned area.
• Maintains and cleans machines after use.
• Reports any problems to Environmental Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
• Mops, scrubs, rinses and polishes hard floors.
• Moves, rearranges and cleans furniture.
• Operates and controls all mechanical equipment including rotary machines, blowers and back vacuums.
• Recognizes and uses appropriate chemicals.
• Responsible for providing exceptional Red Carpet Customer Service to all guests.
