Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow simple instructions.
• Strong communication in a multi-ethnic environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Handles hard floor care, including routine mopping (dry and damp), scrubbing, and buffing on hard surfaces.
• Provides carpet maintenance, including vacuuming, shampooing, bonneting and extracting carpets.
• Provides other cleaning services, such as dusting, restroom and area cleaning.
• Operates all floor care machines and cleaning products safely and in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.
• Follows all safety requirements and procedures at all times.
• Reports to work as scheduled and on time, and accurately reports time worked through the phone timekeeping systems.
• Interacts respectfully with customers and personnel.
• Checks that all equipment is in working order and that all necessary materials and equipment are available.
• Follows instructions on specific cleaning projects completed each shift.
• Reports all work-related injuries to supervisor on the date of occurrence.
• Immediately reports all falls or other injuries to supervisor and onsite store manager.
