Job summary

Velociti Services is seeking a Machine Operator in Chandler, AZ to operate and maintain floor care equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment. The role requires following safety protocols, handling different floor surfaces, and coordinating with the team for quality results.

The position offers a regular evening shift (Mon-Sat 7:00 pm–1:30 am), a competitive pay rate of $17.50 per hour, and opportunities to contribute to maintenance and inventory tasks while supporting guest-facing

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• Proven experience as a Floor Care Machine Operator or similar role.
• Familiarity with a variety of floor care equipment and their operation.
• Knowledge of different floor types and appropriate cleaning methods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain floor care equipment, including floor scrubbers, polishers, and vacuum cleaners.
• Ensure proper setup, calibration, and adjustment of machines for different floor surfaces.
• Perform routine and specialized cleaning of floors using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
• Address stains, spills, and other floor-related issues promptly and effectively.
• Inspect finished floors to ensure cleanliness, shine, and adherence to quality standards.
• Identify and rectify any deficiencies in the cleaning process.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and handling cleaning agents.
• Conduct regular safety checks on equipment and report any issues promptly.
• Conduct routine maintenance on floor care equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Identify and report any malfunctions or the need for repairs to the maintenance team.
• Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment parts.
• Place orders for supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, equipment maintenance, and any incidents.
• Provide reports on machine performance and cleaning outcomes as required.
