Job summary

Velociti is seeking a Machine Operator in Chandler, AZ to operate and maintain floor care equipment, ensuring floors are clean, polished, and safe in multiple facilities.

The shift is Mon–Sat, 7:00 PM to 1:30 AM, at 7450 W Orchid Lane, Chandler, AZ. A High School diploma and experience with floor care machinery are preferred.

You will perform routine maintenance, follow safety protocols, manage supplies, and document outcomes to support quality results.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• Proven experience as a Floor Care Machine Operator or similar role.
• Familiarity with a variety of floor care equipment and their operation.
• Knowledge of different floor types and appropriate cleaning methods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain floor care equipment, including floor scrubbers, polishers, and vacuum cleaners.
• Ensure proper setup, calibration, and adjustment of machines for different floor surfaces.
• Perform routine and specialized cleaning of floors using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
• Address stains, spills, and other floor-related issues promptly and effectively.
• Inspect finished floors to ensure cleanliness, shine, and adherence to quality standards.
• Identify and rectify any deficiencies in the cleaning process.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and handling cleaning agents.
• Conduct regular safety checks on equipment and report any issues promptly.
• Conduct routine maintenance on floor care equipment to ensure optimal performance.
