Job summary

The Staff Pad partners with a Helena hospital to recruit an experienced Registered Nurse for a Float Pool on the Night Shift. You will provide patient-centered care across multiple specialty units, including Behavioral Health, ICU, and Women’s & Children’s Services, while adapting quickly to changing patient needs.

Ideal candidates hold a Montana RN license, have at least two years of acute care experience, and are certified in BLS (ACLS within six months).

Qualifications

• Montana RN license required and active.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of two years' acute care RN experience.
• BLS certification; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Med/Surg and/or Geriatric Nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to deliver high-quality, patient and family-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Collect, verify, and organize patient health information to support clinical decision-making and effective treatment.
• Deliver direct patient care while collaborating with leadership and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and maintain timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Maintain competency to support multiple specialty areas including Behavioral Health, Clinical Decision Unit, ICU, and Women’s & Children’s Services.
