Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Labor & Delivery Nurse to float across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and NICU as needed on the night shift. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care for mothers and newborns, with education and support for families throughout labor and postpartum recovery.

Minimum requirements include a Nursing Diploma/Associate's and RN licensure; Bachelor's in Nursing preferred. Two years L&D experience is preferred; NICU/postpartum experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• RN licensure/certification required.
• Nursing Diploma or Associate degree required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• 2+ years Labor & Delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Float between Labor & Delivery, Postpartum and NICU based on unit needs, providing high-quality patient-centered care.
• Educate and support patients and families during labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for mothers and newborns across the Women & Infants continuum.
• Demonstrate flexibility, critical thinking, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
