Job summary

The Float Pool RN MedSurg Tele position at Palomar Health in Escondido, CA supports acute care across Med-Surg Telemetry units, including Poway MedSurg Tele and ED boarding when needed. You will deliver nursing care and participate in patient handling and mobilization with attention to safety and comfort.

As a licensed RN with telemetry experience, you will coordinate care with patients and families, supervise staff, and adhere to the California Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards of practice

Qualifications

• RN with 3 years of telemetry clinical experience, including the past 12 months.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current California RN license; BLS Healthcare Provider required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group within a unit.
• Coordinate plan of care with patient, family and interdisciplinary team.
• Supervise and direct nursing and ancillary staff as needed.
