Job summary

Sheppard Pratt Careers in Towson, MD, is seeking a Float Mental Health Worker for night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., including biweekly weekends, 36 hours per week, under supervision of a Staff Nurse.

Your duties include direct patient care per the treatment plan, assisting with activities of daily living, and supporting a safe, therapeutic environment while following unit protocols. CPR/AHA BLS certification required.

Qualifications

• High school education with 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience.
• AHA approved Basic Life Support/CPR certification required at hire.
• Ability to read and follow patient documentation and basic computer use.
• Experience in supporting patient activities and privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per the treatment plan.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
