Job summary

Sheppard Pratt invites applications for a Float Mental Health Worker on-site in Elkridge, MD. The position supports multiple service lines and offers an evening PRN/As Needed schedule, with full-time status per posting. You’ll work under a Staff Nurse, delivering direct patient care in line with the treatment plan.

Responsibilities include aiding in safe environments and participating in patient needs planning. Requires HS diploma or related experience; weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required or related experience preferred.
• Must be available to work every other weekend (Sat/Sun).
• Clinical orientation/training starts after first day.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of aStaff Nurse.
• Assist in maintaining safe and therapeutic environment per policies.
• Participate in planning/evaluating patient needs based on behaviors.
