Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating servo-driven narrow web flexographic presses.
• Knowledge of UV and/or water-based inks and film substrates.
• Ability to troubleshoot independently in a production setting.
• Experience as lead operator or shift lead preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with multi-priority management.
• Proficient with basic computer systems for job tracking.
• Excellent team-oriented communication and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support night-shift flexographic press operations, ensuring safety, efficiency and quality.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot servo-driven narrow web flexographic or digital hybrid press.
• Act as the first escalation point for press, ink, registration, or quality issues.
• Review job tickets and specifications to ensure proper materials and press setup.
• Prepare presses for production: substrates, plates, tooling, registration checks.
• Monitor ink distribution, viscosity, speed, and curing to maintain quality.
• Coach press operators and staff on best practices and safety.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance to resolve issues and maintain schedule.
• Perform routine press maintenance and minor repairs; escalate as needed.
• Ensure safety, housekeeping, and company policies on shift.
• Communicate shift performance and handoffs clearly to leadership.
