Job summary

Printpack Inc in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Press Operator for the Converting plant. You will operate printing equipment, perform setup, and ensure color accuracy and product quality.

This role requires basic mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow safety and food safety standards. Night shift is 7pm–7am on a 3/2 rotating schedule, with a $2.50 per hour shift premium.

Qualifications

• Printing experience required.
• Previous Flexo press operating experience required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate printing equipment to meet production targets.
• Perform press setup including cylinders, anilox rolls, ink, and doctor blades.
• Execute basic troubleshooting of equipment issues and print quality.
• Execute color matching and adjustments for optimal production.
• Perform changeovers and wash-up procedures efficiently.
• Conduct quality checks and maintain product quality to customer specs.
• Document and record production information accurately.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve production issues.
