Job summary

RRD is hiring a flexo platemaker to retrieve imaging files from the production server, verify job details, and ensure correct plates are made. You will trim, finish, QA, pack and ship plates, manage solvent recovery and waste, and keep maintenance and quality records.

Shifts include midnight-8am and 4pm-midnight with a differential. Typical duties also cover data entry for materials and time, preventive maintenance logs, and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve imaging files from the production server to fulfill plate orders.
• Trim, finish, quality assure, pack and ship plates after completion.
• Handle solvent recovery, waste, and preventive maintenance logs.
• Maintain material and time data, inventories and quality records.
