Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons (RRD) is seeking a flexo platemaker to retrieve imaging files, verify job information, trim and finish plates, and oversee packing and shipping of finished plates. The role includes solvent recovery, waste handling, and preventive maintenance, with administrative duties like data logging and records management.

Note shifts are Midnight–8am and 4pm–Midnight, with a shift differential. The position requires strong communication, teamwork, physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs,

Responsibilities

• Retrieve imaging files from the production server to fulfill plate orders and verify job information.
• Trim, finish, quality assure, pack and ship plates upon completion.
• Perform solvent recovery, waste handling and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain material and time data records, equipment maintenance logs, inventories and quality records.
