Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring an Experienced Diesel / Brake Technician (DOT Certified) for full-time work in Baton Rouge. You will service DOT and delivery vehicles at client sites and perform brake repairs, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance.

Two years of DOT-related experience and a valid license are required, with DOT certification or the ability to obtain within 30 days. Benefits included; training may begin in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• Must have DOT Brake Certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver's license and meet DOT health requirements (21+).
• 2 years of experience in DOT inspections, maintenance and brake services.

Responsibilities

• Service delivery vans and DOT vehicles with scheduled maintenance at client sites.
• Perform oil changes, tire services, system diagnostics, brake repairs and fluid work.
• Carry out advanced repairs and state inspections as needed.
• Training may occur in a customer retail environment before client-site work.
