Job summary

Swift Transportation in Missouri is seeking a fleet supervisor for the night shift (6 PM–6 AM, Wed–Sat with every other Wednesday off). You will lead a fleet of 10+ drivers, manage driver availability to maximize productivity, and routinely review P/L to improve profitability.

The role requires experience in transportation, strong communication, and the ability to thrive under pressure. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with growth and safety as core values.

Responsibilities

• Lead a fleet of 10+ drivers and manage driver availability to maximize productivity.
• Routinely review P/L for assigned area and find ways to maximize profitability.
• Develop high performing drivers through daily interactions, coaching and positive reinforcement.
• Meet drive home time expectations by actively managing expectations and keeping commitments.
• Maximize P/L for all assigned tractors and trailers.
• Proactively manage safety performance to achieve insurance and claims cost as a percentage of revenue targets.
