Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• May require weekend/holiday/off-shift work.
• Must have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
• Driver's license must not be suspended or revoked in the past 3 years.
• Able to lift 50 pounds or more with or without accommodation.
• Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods.
• Able to work in tight spaces for extended periods.
• Must be able to work on/under trucks for 8–12 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, diagnosing mechanical issues and performing preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with experienced mechanics on more complex repairs and troubleshooting.
• Maintain specific vehicle platforms (e.g., Peterbilt M220, Freightliner M2, Volvo VNR, Cummins engines, Allison transmissions) and various trailers.
• Manage parts inventory and accurately bill parts and labor to work orders.
• Schedule and prioritize daily maintenance inspections and repairs, including brakes, u-joints, steering, emissions, and fuel systems.
