Job summary

Kerry Clark, NJ, is hiring for a flavour production role at their Clark facility. Responsibilities include formulating products, operating spray drying equipment, labeling batches, and ensuring quality control in a factory environment.

The position requires HS or equivalent and experience in the flavour industry, with a focus on compounding techniques and raw materials. Night shift hours start at 10:30 PM and run to 6:30 AM, with a pay rate of $25 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• HS or equivalent experience.
• Must have experience within the Flavour or a closely related industry.
• Must be proficient in compounding techniques and raw materials.

Responsibilities

• Product Formulation from raw materials including but not limited to Compounding various liquid formulas and preparing emulsions used in product formulas.
• Operation, Cleaning and Maintenance or processing equipment
• Basic Understanding of Spray Dry technology
• Operation of various spray drying units to achieve desire results
• Follow all manufacturing instructions on formula batch sheet using proper compounding techniques to ensure product quality.
• Packaging of Finished Product associated with spray drying
• Properly label all batches submitted to the lab for evaluation.
• Utilize inventory lot rotation (FIFO) for all materials used.
• Follow all 5S and Good Manufacturing procedures to maintain good housekeeping and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws and regulations.
• Proper handling of Allergen products and equipment according to Allergen Control Procedures
• Responsible for conformance to Food Safety and Food Quality Plans as described in the Kerry Clark SQF Systems manual. Must report any and all deviations to a member of management and QA- and set product aside until further instructed.
