Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Kings Mountain, NC is seeking a dedicated Finished Goods Handler to support packaging operations and ensure smooth production. This hands-on role involves material handling, forklift operation, and adherence to GMPs and safety programs to prevent cross-contamination of allergens.

The rotating schedule runs nights with five shifts across the week, and you will contribute to staging, inventory control, and timely finished goods rotation to sustain production targets.

Responsibilities

• Inspect forklifts and report damage to supervisor.
• Support production with raw materials and finish goods rotation.
• Transport non-conforming goods to the Hold area.
• Ensure raw ingredients are not mixed with finished goods.
• Move allergen materials to correct storage.
• Place finished goods allergens in designated spots.
• Label, cover, and weigh unused portions before returning.
• Lead by example following GMPs and safety procedures.
• Provide packaging materials, pallets, ingredients, and film.
• Wrap, tag, and move finished goods to staging area.
• Use FEFO and FIFO principles in storage.
• Wrap, cover, and remove packaging after runs.
• Store raw materials in designated staging areas.
• Check overrun area before new run for rewrap.
• Maintain good housekeeping and consolidate locations.
• Adhere to allergen control and avoid cross-contamination.
• Properly handle, store, and distribute materials.
• Follow UTZ programs, policies, procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
