Job summary

Meadow Gold Dairy, a farmer-owned brand of DFA, is seeking Machine Operators to run and monitor the production line, perform setup, keep quality checks, and document results. The role emphasizes GMP, safety, and cross-department communication.

The position offers a night shift (10:00 PM–6:30 AM, M-F) with overtime as needed and a starting pay of $26.72/hr, increasing to $29.69/hr within the first year plus overnight shift differentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
• Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Clean, set-up, operate, and monitor equipment of the production line.
• Complete all required documentation and scheduled quality checks.
• Monitor weights, seals, caps, and packaging of product.
• Adjust filler timing and settings to ensure proper fill.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating issues.
• Collect samples for quality assurance testing.
• Maintain accurate documentation per SOPs.
• Prepare equipment for next run and size changes as needed.
• Communicate with other departments and report problems promptly.
